Leslie brings over 40 years of involvement with the Canadian Investment industry - including over 15 years of employment as a Stock Market Analyst - to her role as an Investment Advisor. It is a longevity that has provided her with the experience to develop investment strategies for both Bull and Bear Markets.
Leslie started her investment career with Walwyn Stodgell Cochran Murray Ltd. in Calgary in 1980 and joined Richardson Greenshields - now RBC Dominion Securities - in Toronto as an Oil and Gas Analyst in 1987. By the time that she left in 1996, she had risen to Vice President and Director. Working next at ABC Fundamental Value Fund, she gained valuable insights into the Mutual Fund industry.
Leslie has strong academic credentials. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario MBA program in 1979 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Economics and Political Science) from Queen’s University in 1977. She completed her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Degree in 1989. Leslie recently completed 20 years helping clients, as an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities.
Away from the office, Leslie enjoys leisure time with her husband Guy and children, Ryan, Trevor, Liseanne and her four grandchildren.
